I have wanted to draw this piece for a while. I visited Milan a few years ago and was blown away by the Duomo Cathedral. This drawing focusses on a small section of the Bronze door of the Cathedral, designed and made by Ludovico Pogliaghi. Which could go unnoticed for some amongst the beauty of the vast Cathedral. One of the largest churches in the world
 Religious artwork really fascinates me, in particular the storytelling within. To recreate this visual in my hand drawn style was a welcome challenge and a privilege. By far the most challenging artwork I have ever produced, a piece which pushed my focus and patience to their limits. I hope you can appreciate all that went into this.
