"Ever since I saw the the Trevi Fountain on my travels to Rome 10 years I ago, I knew I had to draw it. It has a commanding presence, an allure that draws eyes, and one day it was going to make a Max Kerly Artwork. The drawing was drawn over a couple of months but you could say it was 10 years in the making. All my previous drawings were enhancing my skills. My choice to depict it black and white was not an easy one, I was undecided for a while whether in my style it would compliment it more, with colour or without. Ultimately I went without colour, for me it really intensifies the details."
